Post-Pandemic ADA Legal Update: The Future of Accessible Working

Virginia Ability and Performance Food Group are pleased to present their annual ADA legal update program on Wednesday, July 28 at 11:00 am – 12:00 pm hosted by Steven S. Brown, Partner at the Isler Dare law firm.

With businesses reopening and employees returning to work, how is your business modifying its practices to ensure productive work environments? Brown will examine whether attendance at the worksite is essential and the interactive process for continued teleworking as HR professionals look to grow inclusive cultures. He will also explore compelling case studies regarding mandatory vaccines and fitness for duty exams. Join us to deepen your understanding of how modern work practices have evolved and receive practical advice on complex legal questions during the Q&A.

Steven D. Brown is a Partner at IslerDare PC. Steve understands the business operations of the private and public employers he represents and he provides creative strategies to manage labor, employment and business issues. He has over twenty-nine years of experience in defending employers in a variety of industries in cases under various federal and state labor and employment laws before administrative agencies, state and federal courts, and before arbitration panels all over the United States. His practice includes defending employers in single plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, collective actions, and class actions. He is the Chair of the Virginia Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law Section. He is a member of the Dean’s Ambassadors Circle for the School of Professional and Continuing Studies at the University of Richmond. Steve resides in Richmond, Virginia with his wife, Alice, and he has two adult children.
